The route is always done by the sea along the beaches, dunes, cliffs, paths bordered by fragrant bushes, numerous unique birds, picturesque and traditional villages…
Between effort and comfort, an adventure in the middle of nature, totally rejuvenating and captivating!

Depois de chegar ao aeroporto de Lisboa, vamos diretamente a São Torpes, ponto de partida deste trekking.
We leave from São Torpes beach to Porto Covo, a beautiful fishing village, with small white houses, with brightly coloured windows and doors. This village was recovered by the Marquis of Pombal after the 1755 earthquake.
A long, difficult walk, but stunning along the sands of the extensive beaches, surrounded by the rocks of the cliffs, the beauty of the dunes with their vegetation of a thousand colours, blue waters of the sea and points of freshwater, coming from the mountain by underground paths and that gave the name of Milfontes.
A shorter walk, to relax a little and let yourself be carried away by emotions, awaken all the senses, enjoy the landscape around, the fauna and flora typical of the marshes, bulrushes… the flight of birds…
Along these dunes, the high cliffs and precipices wear incredible reddish colours due to the iron oxide and around them, we can admire the flight of the birds that come here to nest…
We walk along the beaches to Azenha do Mar, where there is a picturesque fishing port. On this section of the route, arriving at Ponta em Branco, the view of Odeceixe beach is breathtaking.
We leave the southwest Alentejo coast to enter the Algarve coast. From Aljezur we enter an area that was dominated for many centuries by the Arabs who left traces of their culture with immaculately whitewashed houses and intensely green, narrow and winding paths. Along this route, we will walk through dunes full of scented aromatic bushes, agricultural fields, pine forests … Aljezur is also the favourite spot for rod fishermen who venture along the cliffs in dangerous areas until they find the ideal spot that will yield more fish.
We pass by the Ribat da Arrifana, an Islamic convent-fortress, occupied by warrior monks in the 12th century. It was a convent-fortress, dedicated to prayer and surveillance of the coast.
On this route, the cliffs reach about 100 meters in height, displaying impressive rock strata.
On this route, the impressive rock formations and beaches of extreme beauty such as Amado, Murração and Manteiga will leave you speechless.
The coastline of Cabo de São Vicente (the most southwestern point of Europe) in Sagres is quite impressive, with its imposing cliffs reaching 40m. This area has been classified as a Sagres Biogenetic Reserve because of its extraordinary biodiversity. Among the several great beauties of nature, the seabirds stand out on the coast, some of which are protected and rare, making this area, a paradise for birdwatching lovers.
Here ends the extraordinary journey through the nature of the Vicentine Coast, with lungs full of oxygen, eyes full of magnificent images, nose full of marine scents, and superbly refreshed legs.
