This trip allowed me to better know Portugal thanks to a great preparation done by Emeline and Virginia. It was a tailor-made trip following a video exchange with them. I wanted to get off the beaten path to have personal contact with local French-speaking guides, learn about the history of this country, its culture, so close to us and yet so little known. I was served; I was able to meet people in love with their region and their history so different depending on where you are. The people, the history, the landscapes change along the journey.

Portugal is a very varied landscape much less dry than I had imagined and very flowery. The Portuguese are benevolent and make the effort to speak French or English. We were able to do activities well suited to our family, which gave us very nice surprises. We feel good, not so hot near the ocean, not overwhelmed by tourists if we leave the big cities It is clear that this trip would have been much worse if I had organized it by myself.
